Magda Luz Velasquez
Magda Luz Velasquez 67, of Union City passed away on Wednesday, August 19, 2026. Born in Carhuaz, Marcara, Peru to the late Clara Luz and Victor T. Velasquez and came to the United States in 1991. Magda was a nurse in Peru and she loved to cook.
Magda is survived by her longtime partner Pablo Jesus Leon. Devoted mother of Luz Cleida Rosales Velasquez, Leyra Sujey Rosales Velasquez, Braulio Fernando Rosales Velasquez and Anthony George Leon. Dear sister of Fernando, Carolina and Larco. Loving grandmother of five grandchildren.
Memorial visitation on Saturday, August 29th from 1 - 3 PM at Costa Memorial Home Boulevard and Central Avenue in Hasbrouck Heights. Cremation will be private.
