Marcus L. Montgomery 42, of Hackensack, passed away on Sunday, September 24, 2023. Marcus was a Retail Process Supervisor at the BMW of North America Warranty Parts Return Center in Nazareth, PA. Beloved husband of Katherine (nee Spir) Montgomery. Devoted father of Marcus "MJ" and Ethan. Loving son of Donna Marie (nee Jones) Lamia and Leroy Franklin Montgomery. Dear brother of Leroy, Jr. and his fiancée Kimberly and Brandon. Son in law of Nora and Nasit Spir. Brother in law of Jessica "Sis" and Sindy and her husband Domenick. Cherished uncle of Leo, Gabby, and Nicholas. Marcus is also survived by his aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends as well as his BMW family.

Marcus was a loving husband, amazing father, and a great friend. Every day, he brought a positive attitude and a friendly smile to everyone he came across.

Marcus had a tremendous passion for cars, motorcycles, sports (Go Giants!!) and his meat smoker, just to list a few. Every weekend, his family and friends would look forward to hearing about what meat he smoked - and if they were lucky enough, they'd get a sample! He loved people! He had a way of talking to people and make any tense situation calm. Most of all, he doted on his wife Katherine and his two sons MJ and Ethan.

Marcus loved working for the BMW Group. He was an admired and valued member of the BMW Warranty Parts Return Center, and the BMW Technical Service Team. Marcus started with BMW as a Technician in 2004 and then later became a Master Technician in 2010. He joined BMW North America on the Technical Service Hotline in 2014. In September 2022, they were blessed to have him as part of the Warranty Family. In his time at the Warranty Parts Return Center, Marcus was able to transform the Dealer Relations team to where it is now, building new processes to build efficiency, bringing out clear and transparent information and bridging the gap between dealer partners, Warranty Parts Return center and AG partners.

We celebrate Marcus and his beautiful life and cherished every memory and moment we had with him.

Funeral Service at Costa Memorial Home Boulevard and Central Avenue Hasbrouck Heights on Saturday, September 30th at 10 AM. Private cremation will follow. Visitation Friday, September 29th from 4 - 8 PM at the funeral home.
