Maria C. Bond (nee Golabek) of Hasbrouck Heights, passed away on Thursday, September 26, 2024. Born in Passaic to the late Jean and Joseph Golabek. Maria worked for Corpus Christi School in Hasbrouck Heights where she was affectionally know as "Ms. Maria" to the many students at the school. Beloved wife of Charles Bond. Devoted mother of Linda Bond-Nesbitt and her husband Jimmy and Brian Bond and his wife Barbara. Loving grandmother of Darby, Dahlia, Blythe, and Faith. As a faithful grandmother Maria was also known as "Mammy". Dear sister of Regina Nicotra, Donna Tanella and her husband Don, and Jeannie Vigna and her husband John. Dear sister in law of Holly Kupatt and her husband Billy. Maria will live on and now with the hearts of her nieces and nephews as "Auntie M." to: Kimmie and Doug, Donny and Rebecca, Krissy and Sean, Frankie and Jennifer, Marissa and Jeff, Christine and Johnny, and now with her in Heaven: Charles-George, Albert and Matt. She is blessed to be the great aunt to her beloved Amanda, Isabella, Ada, and Cara.

Maria had a passion for gardening. Looking for heart shaped rocks wherever she went. Found feathers (as did her family) as a sign from God every time we needed it. And she lived her life TRULY as a child with a heart for God. Rest peacefully in the arms of Jesus, His good and Faithful daughter and servant.

A memorial mass will be celebrated on Saturday, November 23, 2024 at 10 AM at Corpus Christi RC Church 260 Boulevard in Hasbrouck Heights.
