Marie Catherine Eitner (nee Kopac) 72, of Hasbrouck Heights, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Tuesday, April 13, 2021, and is now reunited with her loving husband, Thomas. Devoted mother of Kristine, Thomas, and Bryan. Mother-in-law to John Burkhalter and Sharon Ferguson. Adoring Grandmother to Dylan and Ryann. Sister-in-law to Nancy Kopac and Joseph and Patricia Eitner. Predeceased by her parents Andrew and Mary, and her brothers Andrew and James Kopac. Loving aunt to many nephews and their families. Beautiful and graceful, Marie grew up in Maywood and graduated from Bogota High School. As fate would see to it, Mom and Dad would find one another and remain devoted in love for the next 50 years. Both hardworking and sacrificing, they settled in Hasbrouck Heights, where they would create a wonderful life for themselves, their children, and everyone around them. Together they made everything they touched more beautiful. A Memorial Mass to celebrate the life of this beautiful soul, our Mom, will be held fittingly on her birthday, Friday, May 7th at 12 PM at Corpus Christi R.C. Church 260 Boulevard Hasbrouck Heights.
