Marta Morolla (nee Spadavecchia) 86, of Weehawken formerly of Hoboken passed away on Saturday, June 15, 2024. Born in Molfetta, Bari Italy to the late Sergio and Maddalena Spadavecchia and then relocated to Argentina and came to the United States in 1972. Before retiring, Marta was a seamstress and a member of the International Ladies Garment Workers Union in Union City. Beloved wife of the late Michele Morolla. Devoted mother of Benito Morolla and his wife Anna and Maria Manente. Dear sister of Gennaro Spadavecchia and the late Leonardo and Michele Spadavecchia. Loving grandmother of Michael (Ashley), Maurice (Stephanie), Leo (Laura), Nicole (Jeremy) and Michael (Monica). Cherished great grandmother of Madison, Marco, Maverick, Olivia, Alexander, Marcelo and Melina.

Marta will be remembered for her strong will, sense of humor, amazing cooking, and the immense love she had for her family and friends.

Funeral from Costa Memorial Home Boulevard and Central Avenue Hasbrouck Heights on Tuesday, June 18th at 9 AM. Funeral Liturgy from Corpus Christi R.C. Church 260 Boulevard Hasbrouck Heights at 10 AM. Entombment following at Fairview Mausoleum. Visitation Monday, June 17th from 4 - 8 PM at the funeral home.
