Mary Salmon 91, a lifelong resident of Jersey City passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Tuesday, February 9, 2021. Born in Jersey City to the late Thomas and Sadie Salmon. Mary attended St. Patrick's Grammar School and St. Bridget's High School both in Jersey City. During her earlier years, she enjoyed traveling to Europe every summer with a group of friends from school. Before retiring, she worked for Boyle Midway Co. in Cranford for forty-five years where she did their bookkeeping and accounting. Mary was a parishioner of Our Lady of Victories R.C. Church for more than sixty years and a member of St. Aloysius Senior Group both in Jersey City. Dear sister of Edna Korry and the late Ann Haake, Thomas, William, John and Robert Salmon. Cherished aunt of many loving nieces and nephews. Mary will always be remembered for her overwhelming generosity and kindness to family and friends. Funeral Liturgy from Corpus Christi R.C. Church Hasbrouck Heights on Friday, February 12th at 11 AM. Interment following at Holy Name Cemetery, Jersey City.
