Michael E. Tamburo 59, a lifelong resident of Garfield passed away on Monday, December 22, 2025. Michael was a school crossing guard for the Garfield Police Department. Beloved son of the late Rosemarie and Edward Tamburo. Dear brother of Robert Tamburo and his wife Katherine, Paula Tamburo, Richard Tamburo and his wife Colleen and Edward Tamburo. Loving cousin of Sam Conoscenti and Elizabeth Jones. Cherished uncle of Danielle, Anthony, Nicholas and Christopher Tamburo and Victoria, Brian and Julianna Conoscenti. Michael was an avid wrestling, Mets and Giants fan.

Funeral from Costa Memorial Home Boulevard and Central Avenue in Hasbrouck Heights on Saturday, December 27th at 10 AM. Funeral Liturgy from Our Lady Queen of Peace R.C. Church 400 Maywood Avenue in Maywood at 11 AM. Interment following at Lodi Cemetery. Visitation Friday, December 26th from 3 - 8 PM at the funeral home.
