Michael L. Zamparelli

Michael L. Zamparelli, 70, passed away peacefully on June 27, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family.

Born on February 11, 1956, in Jersey City, Michael was the beloved son of the late Ann (Goldner) Zamparelli and Lawrence Zamparelli. Michael spent his early years in Wood-Ridge, where he was raised and built many lifelong memories. After marrying the love of his life Rosemarie, they moved to Hasbrouck Heights where they built a life together centered on family and love. Michael was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. A gifted mechanic with a lifelong curiosity, Michael had a passion for understanding how things worked. He loved cars and airplanes. He also had a deep appreciation for the history of WWII, and enjoyed reading about the people, events, and aircraft that shaped that era.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Rosemarie (Janeiro) Zamparelli and brothers Brian Zamparelli, and Robert Zamparelli. He is survived by his loving children: Christopher Zamparelli and his wife, Jacqueline; Gina Gonnella and her husband, Philip; and Anthony Zamparelli and his wife Brittany. He also leaves behind his sister and brother, Maureen Zamparelli and Larry Zamparelli, and nephew David Connolly along with many family and friends who will forever hold his memory close to their hearts.

Michael will be remembered for his love of family, his strength, work ethic and the kindness he showed to those around him. His legacy lives on through the family he loved so deeply and the countless memories they shared together. Though he will be greatly missed, his family takes comfort knowing he has been reunited with those who have passed before him.

A Funeral Mass will be offered at Corpus Christi R.C. Church 260 Boulevard in Hasbrouck Heights on Friday, July 10th at 11:30 AM. Inurnment following at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus. Arrangements are by Costa Memorial Home Boulevard and Central Avenue in Hasbrouck Heights.
