Nancy T. Protomastro (nee Lambiase) of Wood-Ridge formerly of Hoboken passed away on Monday, November 17, 2025, at the age of 93. Born and raised in Hoboken, Nancy was a graduate of Demarest High School and Drake Business School. In Hoboken, she met her husband of 59 years, Michael, and after starting a family they moved to Wood-Ridge. Nancy was a stay-at-home mom for 17 years before becoming the longtime secretary to the principal of Wood-Ridge High School. She was a parishioner of the Church of the Assumption of Our Blessed Lady in Wood-Ridge  and a member of its Rosary Society. She was also a past officer of its Parents Guild, and she volunteered at the Assumption School library. Nancy enjoyed travel in the U.S. and Europe with Michael, as well as reading, crocheting, doing puzzles, and cheering on the New York Yankees. She made the best manicotti and taralli outside Italy, and she and Michael subscribed to the Metropolitan Opera for many years.

Nancy was predeceased by her husband Michael, her parents Rae and Martin Lambiase, and her sisters Marie Bodtmann and Dorothy Little. She is survived by her beloved children Michael (Laureen), Mary Beth, Nancy Mullen, and David. Nancy is also survived by her grandchildren Kristy (Pat) Riegler, Allison (Michael) Hollick, and Nicole (David) Jacques, as well as eight great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Liturgy from the Church of the Assumption of Our Blessed Lady in Wood-Ridge on Monday, November 24th at 11:30 AM. Interment following at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Church of the Assumption of Our Blessed Lady 143 First Street Wood-Ridge, NJ 07075 would be appreciated. Arrangements are by Costa Memorial Home in Hasbrouck Heights.
