Nancy Smagalski (nee Lobocki) of Lodi passed away peacefully at Sunrise Assisted Living, Wayne on December 29, 2023. Born in the Bronx, NY on March 17, 1931, to the late Eleonor and Bruno Lobocki, she grew up in North Bergen. Nancy graduated Union Hill High School in 1941 and attended Commercial Art School, NYC, NY. She worked in Sterns' Infants Dept. for 40 years. She was an avid gardener and her yard was her pride and joy even up to this past summer. Her talents included drawing, painting in water color, and playing the piano and organ. Nancy's reasoning for longevity was her many trips to Aruba for 47 years, twice a year. Her two favorites there, besides the beach, Bingo and her friends, were The Gold Palace jewelry store and The Alhambra Casino. She had an eager desire for travel and visited many countries over the years, as well as across the United States. Her faith in her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, contributed to her exceptional, positive outlook throughout her life.

Beloved wife of the late John (1995). Predeceased by her daughter Jamie (2005). She leaves her children, daughter Lori Jackson, (husband Jay 2012) and son Wayne Smagalski (wife Margaret 2016). Also three grandchildren, Melissa Jackson Abdelnaby (Mohamed Abdelnaby), Charles Jackson, and Melody Smagalski.

Cremation and graveside service will be private. Arrangements by Costa Memorial Home in Hasbrouck Heights.
