Patrick Joseph Dowd, age 59, of Sarasota, FL, and previously of Hasbrouck Heights, NJ, entered into eternal rest suddenly on July 21, 2023. Pat was born on April 21, 1964 in The Bronx, NY to Patrick and Margaret "Peggy" Dowd.

Pat married the love of his life, Tina-Louise Dowd (nee Freda) on September 11, 1992. Together, they had two extraordinary children; who he was most proud of: Jennifer Nicole and Patrick Ryan. His greatest joy was watching them grow and succeed in their own lives.

Pat grew up in Bronxville, NY and attended Concordia College, where he is still remembered for his impressive basketball career.

Pat was known for his kindness and willingness to help others and was an active member of their community in Hasbrouck Heights throughout the years. Coaching multiple youth sports teams, participating in Corpus Christi church events, and hosting backyard barbecues for family and friends. He was a proud uncle to his many nieces and nephews. He, Tina, and their dogs, Luke and Nash, relocated to Sarasota, FL, where he enjoyed relaxing on the beach and making even more friends. Despite his move, he remained a lifelong Jets and Mets fan.

He is predeceased by his beloved parents, Pat and Peggy Dowd; and his dogs, Buddy and Rudy. He is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Tina; his children, Jennifer Dowd of Maywood, NJ, Pat Dowd, and Pat's fiancée Samantha, of Budd Lake, NJ; his three siblings, Marguerite (Brian) Scally of Irvington, NY, Edward Dowd of White Plains, NY, Robert (Jennifer) Dowd of New York, NY; father and mother-in-law Zachary and Barbara and the entire Freda family; nieces and nephews; Brian, Connor, Meegan, Mackenzie, Reilly, Reagan, Logan, Abby, Chase, Zach, Stephanie, Danielle, Christopher, Ashley, Orion, Andrew, Melanie, and Rosalie; and numerous friends who became like family.

Funeral Liturgy from Corpus Christi Chapel 215 Kipp Avenue Hasbrouck Heights at 10 AM (all to meet at church). Private cremation will follow. Visitation Sunday, July 30th from 1-5 PM at Costa Memorial Home, Boulevard and Central Ave. Hasbrouck Heights.
