Peter F. Tomos, a longtime resident of Wallington passed away at home on Thursday, October 13, 2022, at the age of 64. He died peacefully surrounded by his wife, children and sister by his side.

Peter was born in Brooklyn, NY on July 9,1958, to Marie and Francziszek Tomos. He graduated from Wallington High School in 1976. After high school, he began working in the printing industry where he worked for over forty years.

Peter was predeceased by his parents, Frank and Maria Tomos (nee Gdowska). Beloved husband of Theresa Tomos (nee Buffone). Devoted father of Peter D. Tomos and his wife Nicole, Tanya Galasso (nee Tomos) and her husband Matthew, Edward Tomos and his "bonus son" James Paolozzi and his wife Gina. Loving brother of Jadwiga Rouman, Cherished grandfather of Riley, Genevieva, Madison, Zofia, Brielle, and Natalia and his "bonus granddaughter Antonia. Uncle of Lisa Tracy and her children, Thomas, Victoria and Elizabeth.

Through the years, Peter enjoyed fishing in Canada with his sons, trips to Mexico, being with family, and making friends wherever he went. He was known to be the life of the party and a true adventurer mastering scuba diving and learning to skydive.

Funeral from Costa Memorial Home Boulevard and Central Ave. Hasbrouck Heights on Monday, October 17th at 8:45 AM. Funeral Liturgy from Most Sacred Heart of Jesus R.C. Church 127 Paterson Ave. Wallington at 10 AM. Entombment following at East Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clifton. Visitation Sunday, October 16th from 1-5 PM at the funeral home.
