Philip Vincent Toronto 78, of Hasbrouck Heights formerly of Lodi passed away on Saturday, April 13, 2024. Born in Hackensack on October 13, 1945 to the late Rita (Riley) and Vincent "Jim" Toronto.

Phil graduated from Lodi HS where he was a basketball standout.  An Army veteran who served in Vietnam.  Though stationed in Alaska during the war, Phil volunteered to fight in Vietnam. Phil graduated from William Paterson College and taught and coached at Becton High School while attending law school at night and graduated from the University of Bridgeport School of Law.

Phil practiced law in Lodi and Hasbrouck Heights and served two terms as Lodi's Mayor.  Phil had a great sense of humor and style and was a loyal son, brother and friend who will be missed.

Phil is survived by his brothers Tim (wife Karen) of Vero Beach, Fl., John (wife Denise) of Medford and Tom (wife Priscilla) of Leonia.  6 nieces and nephews and 3 great nephews and nieces.

Visitation on Tuesday, April 16th from 5 - 8 PM at Costa Memorial Home Boulevard and Central Avenue Hasbrouck Heights. Private cremation will follow.
