Phyllis Smith

Phyllis Smith (nee Dennhardt) 82, of Maywood formerly of Ridgefield passed away on Tuesday, April 28, 2026. Born in Weehawkin to the late Angelina and Fred Dennhardt. Before retiring, Phyllis was a secretary for Ferolie Corp. in Montvale. She was a former member of the former Lutheran Church of the Redeemer in Maywood and a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Hasbrouck Heights. Beloved wife of James Smith. Devoted mother of Tracey Divivo and her husband Frank, Tricia Fiore and her husband Michael, Joanne Ihling and her husband Rich and Donna Smith. Dear sister of Fred Dennhardt and his wife Maureen. Loving grandmother of 6 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. 

Visitation on Saturday, May 2nd from 9 - 10 AM at Costa Memorial Home Boulevard and Central Avenue in Hasbrouck Heights. Funeral Service at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Hasbrouck Heights at 10:30 AM. Reverend Susan Nelson-Colaneri officiating. A private entombment at Garden of Memories in Township of Washington. Repast at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church immediately following the Church Service. 

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions to American Cancer Society would be appreciated.
