Robert L. Nurge 94, of Little Ferry passed away on Friday, December 23, 2022. Born in Union City to the late Albert and Mathilde Nurge. Robert was an Army veteran during the Korean War. Before retiring, he was a wrecking master for Conrail in Kearny. Beloved husband of Marie (nee Harjes) Nurge. Devoted father of Peter Nurge and his wife Kathy and Nancy Christiansen and her husband Glenn. Loving grandfather of James Christiansen and his wife Rachelle and Ann Del Re and her husband John. Cherished great grandfather of Blake, Maya and Alexander. Robert was predeceased by his four sisters.  A Memorial Service will be offered at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Hasbrouck Heights on Friday, January 13, 2023 at 11 AM. Reverend Susan Nelson-Colaneri officiating.
