Robert A. Pisani of Hasbrouck Heights formerly of Union City passed away on Sunday, January 9, 2022. Born in Weehawken to the late Gemma and Nello Pisani. Robert was raised in Union City, graduating from Emerson High School and St. Peter's University. He was their only child. He met and married the girl next door, Maryann (nee Grigis) in June 1968. Devoted father of Robert Pisani and his wife Dana. They were the love of his life. He was an avid crossword and puzzle gamer, Yankee and Jets season was a priority. His favorite time of the year was Christmas and summer vacations. Bob worked at Met Life as an underwriter and then as an actuary for 35 years and Prudential Insurance for another 5 years before retiring. He enjoyed and loved his work place friends and continued to correspond throughout the year. He enjoyed travel and loved the peace and beauty of the Western States. Robert and Maryann traveled extensively throughout the West, New England and the Southern States and to Italy where both of his parents were born. Bob was quiet and reserved and respected everyone. He never had a mean word to say about anyone. He will be extremely missed and loved. Funeral from Costa Memorial Home Boulevard and Central Ave. Hasbrouck Heights on Wednesday, January 12th at 10 AM. Funeral Liturgy from Corpus Christi R.C. Church Hasbrouck Heights at 11 AM. Entombment following at Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, North Arlington. Visitation Tuesday, January 11th from 3-5 PM at the funeral home. Masks will be required upon entering the funeral home.
