Roberto Giangrande 84, of Hackensack passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, September 4, 2024 surrounded by his family. Born in Givors, France he was raised in Italy and came to the United States in 1965. Before retiring, Roberto was a partner and contractor for Petrocelli and Sons in Hackensack. He was a parishioner of St. Francis of Assisi R.C. Church in Hackensack. Beloved husband of 63 years to Assunta (nee Petrocelli) Giangrande. Devoted father of Maria Cotelo and her husband Manuel, Vincent Giangrande, Germana Younes, Luciana Tornambe and her husband Paolo, Roberta Lynch and her husband Neil and Loredana Petrocelli and her husband Anastasio. Loving grandfather of Manuel and his wife Amanda, Brielle and her husband Nick, Schylar, Preston, Sabreen, Nadia and her husband Lorenzo, Sarah and her husband Anthony, Ali, Samantha, Paolo, Isabella, Loren and Mia. Cherished great grandfather of Manuel, Milana, Magnolia, Vincent, Lorelai and Billy. Dear brother-in-law of Nina Petrocelli and her late husband Carlino, the late Enzo and Carmela Petrocelli, Elia Petrocelli and her late husband Bruno, Anna Petrocelli and her late husband Patrizio and Bernardo Petrocelli and his wife Frances. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Church 50 Lodi Street in Hackensack at 10 AM. Entombment following at St. Mary's Mausoleum, Saddle Brook. Visitation Sunday, September 8th from 2 - 6 PM at the funeral home.
