Ronald H. Monteleone 95, of Hasbrouck Heights passed away on Saturday, January 21, 2023. Born in Jersey City to the late Humberto and Gladys Monteleone. Ronald was a graduate of Newark College of Engineering. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War serving as Sergeant from 1950-1952 and was a member of the V.F.W. Post 4591 and the James B. Scarr American Legion Post 106 both in Hasbrouck Heights. Ronald was a former Senior Vice-President of United Jersey Bank in Jersey City for 42 years, a Financial Consultant for Blue Sky Financial for 19 years and retiring at the age of 91 as a Code Official for the Borough of Hasbrouck Heights for 10 years. He was a member of the Hasbrouck Heights Fire Department Hook & Ladder Co. for over 50 years, served as Chief from 1991-1992, was an auditor for the Relief Association and a member of the Exempt Firemen's Association. He was a former coach for the Little League in Hasbrouck Heights from 1968-1982. Beloved husband of seventy years to Joanne (nee McElvogue) Monteleone. Devoted father of Susan and Walter Skola, Mark and Jacqueline Monteleone, Pamela and Paul Grisafe and Christopher and Amy Monteleone. Loving grandfather of Emily and Alex Skola, Grace and Colin Monteleone, Dylan Grisafe and Braden and Ava Monteleone.

Funeral from Costa Memorial Home Boulevard and Central Ave. Hasbrouck Heights on Friday, January 27th at 9 AM. Funeral Liturgy from Corpus Christi R.C. Church 260 Boulevard Hasbrouck Heights at 10 AM. Entombment following at Gate of Heaven Mausoleum, East Hanover. Visitation Thursday, January 26th from 4-8 PM at the funeral home with a Fire Department Service at 7 PM.
