WOOD-RIDGE- Ruth L. Lane (nee Bossart) 97, of Wood-Ridge passed away on Wednesday, June 22, 2022. Born in North Bergen to the late Frances and Otto J. Bossart. Before retiring, Ruth was a librarian assistant at the Wood-Ridge Memorial Library for 46 years. She was a former member of the Woman's Club in Wood-Ridge. Beloved wife of the late Donald J. Lane. Devoted mother of Donald J. Lane, Jr. and his wife Barbara. Loving grandmother of Ashley Lane and Jesse Angier and his wife Rose and her devoted caregiver Mary. Ruth always enjoyed cooking, reading, going to the movies with her friends, visiting Ocean City, NJ and loved her pets. Funeral Liturgy from the Church of the Assumption of Our Blessed Lady in Wood-Ridge on Monday, June 27th at 12:30 PM. (All to meet at church). Cremation following at Cedar Lawn Crematory. Visitation Sunday, June 26th from 2-5 PM at Costa Memorial Home Boulevard and Central Ave. Hasbrouck Heights. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Parkinson's Association or to the Bergen County Animal Shelter would be appreciated.
