Stephen D. Deevy 96, of Rutherford formerly of North Arlington passed away on Friday, July 15, 2022. He was an Army-Air Force veteran in W.W.II. Before retiring, he was co-owner of Drywall Finishers in North Arlington with his lifelong friend, Joe Kelly. Steve is survived by his loving partner of 59 years, Georgia Waldron. He was the devoted father of Nancy Stuis and her husband Charles, Robert Waldron, and the late Robyn Waldron and Charles and his wife Maria Waldron. Steve was the loving and proud grandfather of Charlie and partner Christine, Stephen, Ashley and her husband Tim, Will and his wife Emily, Bo and Hayley and partner Dan. He was also blessed with three great grandchildren Charley, Timmy and Robyn. Steve was predeceased by his sister, Margaret Deevy.

Funeral Liturgy from the Church of St. Mary in Rutherford on Tuesday, July 19th at 11:30 AM. Interment following at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Tunnel 2 Towers would be appreciated. Arrangements are by Costa Memorial Home in Hasbrouck Heights.
