Stephen W. Sallay 86, of Hasbrouck Heights passed away on Sunday, March 29, 2026. Born in New York City to the late Margaret and Stephen C. Sallay. He was a U.S.Coast Guard veteran. Stephen was a salesman in the movie memorabilia industry in New York City. He was a former coach for the Junior Football League, Girls Softball and a life member of the former Pioneer Club all in Hasbrouck Heights. Stephen was an avid Yankees, Giants and Knicks fan. Beloved husband of Rhoda (nee Hubner) Sallay. Devoted father of Stephen J. Sallay, Christopher L. Sallay and his wife Debra, and John S. Szalay and his wife Fran. Loving grandfather of Lauren Grace Sallay, Mark Christopher Sallay and Rylee Faith Sallay.

Visitation at Costa Memorial Home Boulevard and Central Avenue in Hasbrouck Heights on Wednesday, April 1st from 5 - 8 PM. Private cremation will follow.
