Thomas F. Marrie 91, of Hasbrouck Heights passed away on Wednesday, August 11, 2021. Born in Jersey City to the late Anna and Frank Marrie. Thomas was a Navy veteran. Before retiring, he was a Systems Engineer for IBM in Armonk, NY. and a member of their Quarter Century Club. He was a faithful parishioner of The Episcopal Church of St. John the Divine in Hasbrouck Heights since 1960 where he served as treasurer, a warden, an usher and a greeter. Thomas was a member of their Bowling League , a former Cub Master, a former coach for their Basketball League and chaired many projects at the church. He enjoyed family gatherings especially the annual family reunion. He was an avid NY Giants fan and an avid golfer who hit two holes in one  in two separate tournaments. He loved Louise's peanut butter chocolate chip cookies. Beloved husband of Louise (nee Sarcich) Marrie. Devoted father of Thomas F. Marrie, Jr. and his wife Lori, Robert K. Marrie and his wife Beth and David T. Marrie and his wife Zayda. Dear brother of the late Edward Marrie. Cherished grandfather of Sarah, Alicia Coppock, Kaitlyn Palevo and her husband Daniel, Kevin, Melissa Martin and her husband Patrick, Christopher and Julia. Funeral Service at Costa Memorial Home Boulevard and Central Avenue Hasbrouck Heights on Saturday, August 14th at 10 AM. Interment following at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus. Visitation Friday, August 13th from 4-7 PM and Saturday from 9 - 10 AM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, The Shriners or to Christ Church in Hackensack would be appreciated. Masks are required upon entering the funeral home.
