Vincent S. LoIacono 83, of Mahwah formerly of Little Ferry and Lodi passed away on Wednesday, May 26, 2021. Born in the Bronx to the late Nancy and Stephen LoIacono, Sr. Vince was a member of the New Jersey Army National Guard and was an Army veteran. Before retiring in 2017, he served in several positions including East Key Accounts Manager at Batesville Casket Company in Moonachie and in 2016 was inducted into the Batesville Casket Company Masters Club. Previously, Vince served as president of Bridge Casket Company in Lodi and in 1993 merged the operations with Batesville Casket Company. He was a past president of the Casket Manufacturers Association. Vince was a parishioner and an usher at the Church of the Presentation in Upper Saddle River. He was a past president of the Kiwanis Club, a member of St. Michael's Knights of Columbus Council 2861 and a former Director of the Boys Club all in Lodi. He was a past president of UNICO, the Board of Education and was a former coach for the Little League all in Little Ferry. Vince was also a past president of the N.J. Funeral Sales and Service Association and a member of the Upper Montclair Country Club. He was actively involved at Ground Zero working with the Crisis Team with local funeral directors and state officials. Beloved husband of Frances "Cookie" (nee Motyka) LoIacono. Devoted father of Nancy J. Vasile, Francine L. Bouwense and her husband Randy, Stephen J. LoIacono and the late Jeanne K. and Vincent S. LoIacono, Jr. Dear brother of Stephen LoIacono, Jr. and his wife Diane and the late Tom LoIacono. Brother-in-law of Evelyn Caffrey and her husband Bill, Diane Jespersen and her husband Chris and the late James Motyka. Loving grandfather of Christina, Joseph, Ashley and her husband Joseph and Christian. Cherished uncle of many nieces and nephews. Funeral Liturgy from the Church of the Presentation 271 W. Saddle River Rd. Upper Saddle River on Wednesday, June 2nd at 10 AM. Interment following at St. Nicholas Cemetery, Lodi. Visitation Tuesday, June 1st from 2-7 PM at the Church of the Presentation. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to your favorite charity in memory of Vincent S. LoIacono would be appreciated. Masks are required and please practice social distancing.
