Virginia M. Croce (Chomiak)  93, of Hasbrouck Heights, passed away on Friday, February 24, 2023.  Virginia, also known as Ginny, was born on June 12, 1929, in her parents' home in Passaic, NJ. The daughter of the late John Chomiak and Marie R. (Greco) Chomiak, she was raised in Hasbrouck Heights and Wood-Ridge.  A graduate of Wood-Ridge High School, class of 1947, Ginny married the late Carl M. Croce Sr. on Nov 29,1952.

Professionally, Ginny was a secretary at Wright's Aeronautical Corporation, Wood-Ridge, NJ, and a Legal Administrative Assistance for many years, with a focus on Real Estate Law. Ginny loved animals and this love led her to volunteer as a dispatcher for animal cruelty complaints for the NJ Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA). Throughout the years she shared her love for animals with her three dachshunds: Denny, Charlie, and Sparky. Ginny also served as a member of the Ladies Auxiliary for V.F.W. Post 4591, Hasbrouck Heights, where her husband Carl was a member who served in the US Navy.

Beloved wife of the late Carl M. Croce, Sr. (1995). Loving mother of Daniel R. Croce and his wife Maria (Rosqvist), Mark P. Croce, and the late Carl M. Croce, Jr. (2017). Dear sister of Deanna Sutton, John Greco, and the late Joan Minutella (1988). Devoted grandmother of Laura  (Croce) Gould and her husband Michael, Lisa Croce, Amanda Croce, and Danny Croce. Cherished great grandmother of Michael D. Gould.

Ginny was always so proud that her three sons attended and graduated from the USMMA.

Funeral from Costa Memorial Home Boulevard and Central Ave. Hasbrouck Heights on Saturday, March 4th at 9 AM. Funeral Liturgy from Corpus Christi R.C. Church 260 Boulevard in Hasbrouck Heights at 10  AM. Interment following at St. Nicholas Cemetery, Lodi. Visitation Friday, March 3rd from 4 - 8 PM at the funeral home.
