Vincent Costa has devoted his life to serving the families of the community he has always called home. As the son of Victoria and Joseph Costa, founders of Costa Memorial Home, Vincent grew up learning the values of compassion, integrity, and service that have been the cornerstone of the family business for generations.
Since joining Costa Memorial Home in 1986, after graduating American Academy McAlister Institute of Funeral Service, Vincent has continued his parents’ legacy of providing caring and personalized support to families during their most difficult times. Known for his kindhearted nature, gentle demeanor, and genuine concern for others, he takes great pride in helping families honor their loved ones with dignity, respect, and compassion.
Working alongside his twin brother, Joseph Costa, Vincent has helped lead Costa Memorial Home with a shared commitment to the principles established by their parents. Together, their leadership has ensured that the funeral home remains a trusted source of comfort and guidance for generations of families. Through their dedication, Costa Memorial Home has continued to grow while maintaining the personal attention, family values, and compassionate care that have always defined the firm.
A lifelong member of the community, Vincent has remained actively involved in local organizations and church activities, reflecting his deep commitment to serving others both professionally and personally. His faith, strong family values, and dedication to helping those in need have earned him the trust and friendship of countless families throughout the years. Known for his warm demeanor and genuine compassion, Vincent takes the time to listen attentively to every family he serves. Whether offering support during difficult times or sharing a friendly conversation with members of the community outside the funeral home, he has a unique ability to make people feel comfortable, understood, and valued. Vincent is married to his wife, Rita, and together with their son, Nicholas G. Wood, who is a graduate of American Academy McAllister Institute of Funeral Service, NJ Lic. 5807, they continue the Costa family tradition of service, compassion, and community involvement. They remain honored to carry forward the legacy established by Mr. & Mrs. Costa, ensuring that every family who walks through the doors of Costa Memorial Home is treated with the same care, respect, and understanding that have defined the funeral home since its founding.
